We are pleased to attach HERE our latest document which we hope gives a very clear insight into the Smithfield Forum and, most importantly, the vision for its future. Considerable progress has been made over the last three years in defining the role and delivering on our original objectives. The successful event at Church House in November was the culmination of our activities. It also provided a platform to consult with those who attended and further understand their thoughts about our future. Thank you to all those who have participated in that process.
We are very grateful to all those, whose engagement and support has endorsed our vision and transformed it into reality, particularly Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex. However, with all the help and support, both practical and financial, there comes a time for a project to support itself.
The Royal Smithfield Club has invested heavily establishing the Forum but the time has come for our industry to decide the ongoing role for the Forum and how to support the initiative with both finance and resources.
